SurveyMonkey is a global leader in market research software and provides a cost-effective and quick way of conducting market research to keep track of your brand, test your ideas or gut check with your target audience.

Prior to the release of SurveyMonkey Rewards, panel growth and engagement was plateauing and also lacked diversity — survey takers were predominantly women and over the age of 30 — which made us reliant on partner panels to reach certain audiences and cut into our margins.

Goals

  • Create the largest and most representative market research mobile panel in the US

    • Drive panel growth and improve panel user acquistion

    • Improve panel engagement

    • Diversify panel demographic representation to migrate off of third party panels

  • Improve Audience value proposition

    • Enable enhanced respondent profiling and targeting based on a combination of explicit and implicit data.

    • Become the data collection platform for syndicated products — indices tied to business and market segments.

    • Leverage mobile device reach to expand our set of solutions and use-cases for Audience customers
